Biography
Artur Asilbekovich Beterbiev, born Khasavyurt, Russia in 1985 and a Canadian citizen by marriage, was the first man in heavyweight or light-heavyweight history to enter a unification bout with a 100% KO ratio. He held the IBF, WBC and WBO light heavyweight titles from 2019-2022 and unified the WBA in October 2024 by split-decision win over Dmitry Bivol — becoming the four-belt undisputed champion for two months until Bivol's revenge in the October 2024 rematch. KO every opponent in his first 20 pro fights — the longest such streak in the four-belt era at light heavyweight.
